I have had a set of the MicroDry Extra-thick, SoftLux Memory Foam Bath Mats with GripTex Skid-Resistant Base for over ten (10) years; so I feel I can give a good valid review of this product. When we renovated our home, which is now over 102 years old; we added an additional floor and put a number of the concepts that they use over in Europe. Our bathroom on the new addition has a Block Glass Shower, Jacuzzi and large vanity, which is separate from the Washroom that consists of the Toilet, the “Italian” bidet and a smaller vanity. Both rooms have skylights.The people in The Netherlands never put the toilet in the bathroom; it is always is in a separate room and of course the Italians use a different type of bidet which has the same or similar type of faucet on the top that are similar to the faucet on a bathroom sink. The French Bidet is quite different and is more useful for a woman; they also are quite more expensive because of the plumbing that goes with that bidet. It really makes sense to have the toilet separate from the bathroom, especially if someone using in the bathroom to take a shower and another person in the family needs to use the toilet.Originally I just had the terry cloth bathmats, but I came across the MicroDry Memory Foam Bath Mats through AMAZON and thought I would try them. I immediately was so pleased with my purchase. I have put them in the washing machine a number of times and still to this day, the seams are just as good as the day I purchased them. After more ten years, my concern was – is this produce still on market at AMAZON and sure enough they were. So I purchased two new sets of the 17”x24”mats in two different colors. They add such a comfort feeling in both the Bathroom and the Washroom. They are extremely water absorbent and dry quickly. When I wash them I usually just put them in the dryer for about ten to fifteen minutes and then I allow them to finish drying on their own. They have not faded, even having the skylights in both rooms or even by washing them numerous times.I just receive the new MICRODRY Extra-Thick, SoftLux, Infused Memory Foam Bath Mats and I had to compare the new Linen mat to the older Linen mat to check for myself if the first one had faded, which it didn’t.
