I've had the mat for a couple of months and use it in our tub/shower. I usually let it drain and then put it on the side of the tub. My husband noticed the tub was stained light blue where the mat sits. It took me about 20 minutes of scrubbing with bleach to remove it. We don't, use anything but soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower, so it definitely was the mat that made the stain. After I cleaned the mat, I took a shower and the stain was back. I really like the mat, but had to quit using it. My tub is to expensive to replace.I like this new kind of design for bath mats better than any I've ever had/seen before.the backing started coming lose in about a month after i got it. I had to sew the backing back on. i would order another one but afraid it would do the same.This is comfortable and easy to clean and no more junk around the suction cups. Love it !Very comfortable and easy to clean…love the grey color tooGood for scrubbing my feet while washing my hair. I found it stayed in place well in the shower, contrary to the experience of some other reviewers. The only complaint I have is that it seems to shed loofa fibers. The fibers get caught in the drain hair catcher and so far (5 months), the loss doesn't show in the mat.Excellent product. My wife loves it.Very nice and non-slip but the water stays under mat even for a few days.I am elderly and suffer from very painful neuropathy of my feet.Standing in a shower has been excruciatingly painful until I discovered this mat.In spite of some of the reviews I found this mat very safe with NO slipping issues and oh so soft and cushiony on my painful feet.I love it and highly recommend it for anyone who wants a soft non slip shower mat.The water flows thru VERY slowly. I have a drain in the centre of the shower which of course is covered by this mat. The water does Not flow thru with ease. In no time you are standing in 3" of water to the point of overflowing the shower stall if you're not paying attention. The rough texture was also unpleasant for some family members. Other than that it is a well-made quality product, and may work well in other circumstances.This is NOT non slip! I would not recommend using this in the shower. I was scared to stand in the shower with this. It has no suction on it so it does not stick to the bathtub. I put it outside my tub and it's fine to stand on when u get out of the tub but that's about it.I did like this mat for softness BUT it slips in the tub while I was showering. It is to bad because it is a nice mat but I was very scared of falling in my tub. There are no suction cups to hole it in place so it moves, not good so am returning this product.This mat is exactly what I was looking for. It is NON SLIP and very comfortable. I actually allow the mat to get wet before stepping onto it in the shower. It dries very well outside in the fresh air or hanging over the shower rod. It is still very new so I can not attest to how long it will last .
